| I put one small item on Bricklink. A member was kind enough to buy it. I know
he paid and I was able to print a label through paypal. But there is no payment
or balance on my account.
I hate having to ask the community for help, but I spent a very long time looking
through Bricklink and can find nothing to link my account to accept payouts.
Do I need to add a payment method somewhere else linked to my bank account?
What am I doing wrong? Sorry to be so thick, I am not worried about this small
order amount, but I am going to list Simpsons minfigs and the Simpson's House
and Kwik-E-Mart and want to get things worked out.

How do you know it was paid? How did you print a label in PayPal, did you click
the ship link on the payment? Did you have to fill in the address or was it prefilled?
Your PayPal account should already be linked to your bank.
I would be worried about any little amount "disappearing" since it should all
work smooth as silk most of the time.

How do you know it was paid? How did you print a label in PayPal, did you click
the ship link on the payment? Did you have to fill in the address or was it prefilled?
Your PayPal account should already be linked to your bank.

Thank you. The main reason I know it was paid is because the buyer said it was.
Address was prefilled and I paid through payPal. My paypal account is linked
to my bank. Ship link was marked as shipped.
I did a small amount listing so that I could work the kinks out. I though that
Bricklink was going to managed payments and when that was done for ebay I had
to link my bank account to that. Other than being exceedingly slow, it has worked
fine. Does Bricklink use managed payments? If so, where does it go.

BrickLink doesn't have managed payments. The payment should go to PayPal
(with the caveat that it doesn't always clear immediately, there are e-checks
and whatnot).

Do you happen to have two PayPal accounts, for example one business account for
your store and a personal one?
Could this be as simple as you looked in the wrong one?
Another option is that they payment has been "archived", though that doesn't
explain the no balance.
In PayPal, go to:
Activity
All Transactions
Under "Archive" select all
Change date if more than 30 days ago
This will show all your transactions
You can then search for this transaction.
Hopefully he didn't do a charge back without you noticing the PayPal email.
