| Hi all,
I have a couple of black bar 3L
but they are notched near one end, is it a variant or a clone?

Sounds like a clone variant, because if you look in the Bar category, there are
none with that description.

You want to post a picture? That could help. What is the exact length?
I know COBI has some bars with a short thickening on one end.

I've seen something similar.
The bar with clip has them.
* | | 48729 Bar 1L with Clip Mechanical Claw (Undetermined Type)

You can see it on the main image
Saying that, I've not seen that on the normal 'Bar' items, so it's
probable that it's a mold variation, which hasn't been noticed?
Or, you have a clone variation.

Throw them into your junk / clones box. A couple of black ones are worth a few
cents in total. Hardly worth bothering with them.
