Hello,
I have old Lego on which the tubes have been painted.
I have tried to remove the paint with soap, washing-up liquid and even white
spirit, unsuccessfully.
Any ideas how to remove paint from Lego?
All suggestions welcome!
Thank you.

Hi there, soak in brake fluid for 24 hours, will not affect plastic, James.

Thanks for your answer.
I didn't have any brake fluid so I couldn't try that.
But in the end I managed to remove the paint using perfume (eau de cologne) at
70°.
So I think using "rubbing alcohol" (Isopropyl) at 70° or above does work to remove
paint from Lego. In fact the stronger it will be, the easier it should remove
the paint effectively. "Rubbing alcohol" at 90° must be quite effective.
In the unlikely case that my experience can help someone else.........
