Can somebody enlighten me about Tile 1 x 2 with Groove with EXO CODE or CITY
CODE?

What are those codes? Are those rare parts?

The font used in codes look like very cheap and I was almost throwing away then
I saw the LEGO brand at the bottom, now I am not sure...

They are very rare if you want a particular one, but not rare in general. They
are typically codes for unlocking online content.

Those tiles used an atypical method of printing, where each one is supposed to
be unique. It appeared they were laser printed. Laser printing of ABS, while
possible, needs a very fine control of the power.

As to them actually being unique, I don't know for sure, but probably about
as unique as a winning lottery ticket.
