Hi,

I have been on the Brinklink inventory list for the above set, Tracked crane.
One of the parts is the string that lifts the crane that goes on a spool. On
the inventory it says that the piece is x77ac100 string cord thin 100cm whilst
on the brickset site the inventory says its x77ac50 string cord thin 50cm and
the link goes to Brinklink to buy page.

Can anyone confirm which cord I need to buy (50cm or 100cm) to complete my
set.

Thanks for reading and/or answering

The inventory on BrickLink was compiled from a sealed set and verified by at
least one other user from a sealed set. BrickLink has the most accurate LEGO
inventories anywhere.

The data on Brickset is retrieved from the LEGO replacement parts service, and
is very often incomplete or wrong.

And, when in doubt, you can always look for photos of a sealed set being opened.
Here's one for fun:

https://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5757004

Notice the measurement on the cardboard sleeve for the string.

It's this one:

Part No: 4584351 Name: Cardboard Sleeve 4584351 with Contents
*
4584351 (Inv) Cardboard Sleeve 4584351 with Contents
Parts: Cardboard Sleeve

Cheers,
Randy

Thanks Randy for the information. This is the first forum post that I have listed
and to have it answered so comprehensively is great. Cheers
