Today we finished parting out a few large sets (over 550 lots in each) and discovered
a problem with Brickstock. When we went to start our pricing process (Too long
winded to go through here) Brickstock would only update about 500 of the 556
lots, no matter what we did.

We then found we could manually run the update to price guide command against
those individual items and it brought in the price. So we experimented and found
that over 500 lots doesn't work in a single update, but if you split it into
2 halves it works fine.

I have sent a message to the author and asked him to look at this, but at least
there is a workaround.

Lego keep increasing the size of sets so this isn't going to go away.

We just did a few large sets yesterday with brickstock (set 10270 with 547 lots),
and had no issues. What version are you using, and are you running on Mac or
PC?

We've planned on doing a batch of Lambos and a batch of Bugattis this weekend.
These should approach the file size of 21318 at least. I'll try to play around
a bit, maybe combine them, to see if I can replicate the same error.

Okay, so it started to act up for me as well now. Both big sets and small sets.
Even parting out a minifig will return with a few items with no data. I've
switched to Brickstore today...which I've dreaded for a long time

I’ve been trying at add figs and the price guide isn’t showing any data. How
is brick store? I thought it was outdated, did someone take it over.

Lego keep increasing the size of sets so this isn't going to go away.

The problem seems to be with too much connections to the BL server.
In the new BrickStore 2021 the developer downgraded the max connection from the
industry standard 6 to 4.

Interestig - the plot thickens and the crystal ball get a bit murky.

I believe BrickStock is not being maintained any more. At least that is the sense
I get from various posts in the forum and elsewhere.

Pretty sure that BrickStock is no longer maintained.
Can highly recommend BrickStore... works well and has active support for bugs/features.

Only 1 answer: change asap to the new BrickStore. All functions not correct integrated
or not present in Brickstock, are there in BrickStore.
You do not have to 'check it out', just switch, and be happy again.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I've downloaded BrickStore and about to
restart my system to complete the installation.

I've also recently started having pricing problems with Brickstock. It seems
it will not pull in prices for minifigs.

Time for a change.
