| Hello everybody,
I have a little problem choosing the color.
Right, pearl gold.
On the left ??, I thought about flat dark gold but I am not sure because this
color for this part is not referenced on Bricklink, it does not exist in any
set?
Can you help me ?

Both are classified as Pearl Gold and not distinguished on Bricklink. Just color
variation.
The difference between the Pearl and Metallic colors is:
Pearl colors are colored throughout the part; the 'pearly' thing is mixed
throughout the plastic.
Metallic colors are also called drum lacquered; they are painted with a metallic
coating.

This is really helpful for me, because I was sorting through a bunch of random
parts I got at a thrift shop and couldn't figure out which color I was looking
at.

| I often list these as separate lots, 'pearl gold lighter variety' and
'pearl gold darker variety' but both pearl gold. Always worth mentioning
that 'pearl gold can come in different shades' in the listing when they
differ significantly (like 1x1 round plates for example).
