Hi all,

A new user/buyer with 2 reviews ordered from me and has annoyed me every step
of the way, with new emails and questions.
1)shortly after ordering, I was asked on my personal email when he'd get
the invoice.
2)he then sent me a message through BL asking the same thing.
[I shipped and added tracking info on PayPal and Bricklink]
3)he then sent a message asking for the tracking number on BL.
4)then he emailed me asking for the tracking number.
[Then I sent it]
5)he again emailed me asking what service i used.

He paid quickly but I am annoyed with the questions. Is a neutral review too
much for this? Because I know he will then leave a neutral/negative review.

Thanks for your opinions

I don't know if I would go so far as to leave neutral feedback, but you could
always stoplist the buyer. This is the reason that I wish that there was a way
to block specific people from messaging you.

I'd just kindly let him know that he doesn't need to send a message to
both your email and through bricklink; let him know your preferred way of contact.
As to the questions themselves, it just sounds like an eager new buyer that doesn't
quite understand how everything works; I have a feeling as he gets used to the
site he'll stop being so annoying.

How many emails from buyers are you getting on any given day? I would understand
if you were suffering under the sheer load and this person's unwarranted
message would break the proverbial camel's back, but otherwise you probably
won't have to deal with this buyer when they get their order, so I don't
think you should do anything.

Assuming the buyer bought a set of similar value to the 2 high value you are
currently selling, they might just be nervous because they are new.

Yes, a neutral review would be too much. He hasn't really done anything wrong,
he's just anxious.

Answer all of his/her questions as best you can, try to alleviate the discomfort
they obviously have ordering from (lets face it)what looks like an amateur site
and create a confident relaxed buyer who will continue to use Bricklink. Any
other response is that of a poor and amateur seller.

Setup instant checkout.

Put the tracking in the order
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1266341

Use drive through messages to let the buyer know the package was shipped.

Finding BrickLink is exciting and a little nerve racking, don't kill the
joy with negative feedback. I was nervous on my first several orders this site
was a scam, so I understand why they wanted to know a lot of information about
the package.

Answer through BL messaging, then cut and paste the answer and send it by email
too. 30 seconds of extra work.

A lot of newbie buyers ask alot of questions - I simply answer them and move
on. I would never leave neutral feedback on a buyer for asking questions. As
someone else mentioned, just stop list them so they cannot buy from you again
if it bothers you that much.

I wouldn't recommend a neutral, but a bit of polite education is most likely
warranted.

It sounds like a buyer who is under age. When I get these type of spam emails
from newbies, I politely point out that I got the messages they sent and enumerate
all the ways it was received/sent. I then explain that we are individual businesses
and not Amazon with instant turn around. I usually sign with a mention that BL
has a policy for 18 and older users and a link to that information. I've
received 3 responses out of 5 emails from parents apologizing.
