| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Add 2 Part 3040a Black Slope 45 2 x 1 without Bottom Tube (Alternate) (match ID 3040)

I have an updated set (with 210 pieces) and the 2 black 45 degree slopes have bottom tubes. I think it should be added as an alternative to the set. 207 pieces no tubes, 210 pieces with tubes.

This change request is theoretically possible. The set
was in market until 1984.
The slopes
were produced first in 1981 or 1982.
I guess you need to provide some evidence? Did you receive this set in new condition?

Speaking of this set. I can find the updated instructions but I don't see
where the extra gear fits in and why the black version?

I'm sorry for the very late reply.
I do NOT have any proof.
I bought the set second hand, but all the other peaches are correct.
Even the manufacturing dimples from the injection molding are on the correct
places.
I think the set was built once, put back in its box and ever used again.
I hope that someone will have the definitive answer in the future.
