I am building some classic cars, and I am using

 
Part No: 47720 Name: Plate, Modified 2 x 2 with Wheels Holder Wide - Technic Pins

I am looking for other ways to have wheels 6 wide, but with "lower" wheels. I
can add a plate on 47720, but I am looking for some spoked wheels, that are more
in line with the part they are attached to.

I can use other wheels. Suggest me something

The first thing that comes to mind is

You would have to use different wheels obviously, but the wheelbase would be
six studs wide. For wheels, maybe you could use
 
Part No: 11208 Name: Wheel 14mm D. x 9.9mm with Center Groove, Fake Bolts and 6 Double Spokes

since it has spokes. Perhaps someone else here will have a better idea.
