3069bpx40 in some later print run of the set is substituted by 3069bpb779. I opened two sets, and both had this new piece instead of the older one given in the instructions.
I tried to re-order the piece from lego, but the inventory of the set on their site (verify by asking to get a missing piece) gives only the latter option (3069bpb779).
