| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Add 1 Part 3003 Red Brick 2 x 2
* Change {12 to 11} Part Red 3004 Brick 1 x 2
* Change {4 to 3} Part Red 3002 Brick 2 x 3
* Change {10 to 9} Part Red 3001 Brick 2 x 4
Comments from Submitter:
Bought a new state kit from Ebay and when building it I have this set up and can not find the number specified in the inventory in the manual

You mean new as in sealed?
I'm only going by the instructions but here's my observations:
| * Add 1 Part 3003 Red Brick 2 x 2
|
Yes - used above the arches next to a 2x4
| * Change {12 to 11} Part Red 3004 Brick 1 x 2
|
No - 5 used under each side of arches and 2 more on front of balcony either end
of the fences
| * Change {4 to 3} Part Red 3002 Brick 2 x 3
|
No - I only see 2. One under the cash register in Step 1 and the other holding/bridging
the two building sections together...
| * Change {10 to 9} Part Red 3001 Brick 2 x 4
|
No - The 10th 2x4 must be next to the 2x3 above holding the two buildings together
(see image below)
Let me know what you think...

| Here is what I found when I went through it a couple days ago:
| | * Add 1 Part 3003 Red Brick 2 x 2
|
Yes - used above the arches next to a 2x4
|
This change is correct. It is used in Step 15.
| | * Change {12 to 11} Part Red 3004 Brick 1 x 2
|
No - 5 used under each side of arches and 2 more on front of balcony either end
of the fences
|
This change is correct. Only 11x are used (6x in Step 13, 3x in Step 14, and
2x on the balcony of the finished model). The bottom-most brick under the back
of the arch is the extension of the 2x3 brick that crosses both roofs (see image).
| | * Change {4 to 3} Part Red 3002 Brick 2 x 3
|
No - I only see 2. One under the cash register in Step 1 and the other holding/bridging
the two building sections together...
|
This change is not correct. I only see 2x used also (1x in Step 1 and 1x in Step
9).
| | * Change {10 to 9} Part Red 3001 Brick 2 x 4
|
No - The 10th 2x4 must be next to the 2x3 above holding the two buildings together
(see image below)
|
This change is not correct. 10x are used (5x in Step 9, 1x in Step 15, 4x in
Step 16).

| Looking again, one of the bricks that I thought was a 2x4 in Step 9 may be a
2x3 (see image), which would make all of the change requests correct.

Only 2x3 studs are visible, but based on its position in the model this should
be a 2x4 or else there would be a gap in the model. The 2x3 brick in front if
it is shown raised, so the missing studs of the 2x4 could be hidden behind it.
Instructions back then were drawn by hand. The artist could have found it impossible
to clearly draw all studs of a 2x4 brick in that position.

| Great responses and quick or I might just be slow reeding it
I must have mistaken on that calculation to 7 and not 6 then(on the roof)
good that it was cleared out
I will keep my old style 2x2 and 2x3 because that was part of the kit and more
time accurate since the production of those with support style was started much
later than the 2x4( At least by my experience)
Dont understand why i did not wrote those specs in the request though
