| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Change 1 Part Black {4623 Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Arm Up (Undetermined Arm Length Type) to 4623a Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Arm Up (Horizontal Arm Length 6mm)}
Comments from Submitter:
Checked in set from my personal collection that was bought new and not mixed with other parts.
I have [p=30389c,11] instead of in my set.
Should the c type be an alternate part or can we remove the b type? These variants were not distinguished in the catalog until 2006 so it is difficult to determine a timeline or to say that both molds were used parallel over a longer period of time.

This situation is difficult because it does seem that both of these mold types
were used in parallel over a substantial amount of time. It is also hard to determine
which one came first, although I have a strong feeling it was 30389c. The reason
for that is due to Jon's finding here:

That set would have been one of the first to use the part with an axle hole included,
and it is the only set to use the part in white.
I would say that we go ahead and switch the one in this set to 30389c based on
the fact that this is also a 2002 set and your data is factual.
Cheers,
Randy
