I'm almost done with my first set inventoring! One last question remains:
how do I tag extra parts in XML properly? I have something like on the attached
screenshot, but it's not showing the extra part after validating. What do?

For items that are not extras, you use

[EXTRA]N[/EXTRA]

and for items that are extras, you use

[EXTRA]Y[/EXTRA]

Obviously, replace the square brackets with angled brackets.

Randy

I seeeeee, thank you sir!

Also, the example tags are not visible on this page: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=198
. You have to choose a translation to see them, at least on Firefox.

Thanks for bringing that help page to my attention. The site is stripping the
characters out. I will get that page fixed.

Cheers,
Randy

The reverse problem is encountered on https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=207
“Use & instead of &” isn’t very clear

(Also the “Field Explanation” link doesn’t lead to any explanation….)

The "all" included those who speak more than English, too.

It sure does, doesn't it. Unfortunately, I can't edit that page.

Russell worked some magic, and I now have access to it. I will be looking into
it.
