I have not found a copy of a very early release of this set. As 7745 and 7817,
I believe this one also came first with
and then with
The copy right of this copy is 1258 (12th week in 1988)

You are probably correct, but it would be nice to confirm it. Since we know the
'b' version was definitely included in later sets, having that information
will be beneficial if the 'a' version is discovered.
The parts list for the set on the box only shows 2x 4073 in trans-yellow listed,
which would equate to 1x 4073c01. But the instructions definitely show that 4x
4073 in trans-yellow are needed to build the set. Nice catch.
