Could you please translate my barcode to a production date?

I have 3012 = 30th week of 1992. Unfortunatly I don't know what your code
means. My smaller boxes always have their 4 digit code on one small side and
it's stamped, not printed. Maybe factories in Canada had a different code
system at that time? Or they didn't had this kind of code at all?

The box is American not Canadian. A Canadian box has "Jeu de construction" printed
on the box.
I did not find such a stamp or anything printed similar to your 3012.

I have looked at ebay for photos of more boxes and the ones I could find have
exactly the same code like yours (R64790 and P54906258). So it is most likely
a specific code for that set and does not indicate a production date. 
Too bad, I was sure all boxes since the mid 1980s would have that code regardless
of their origin, especially since Axaday already found them on his dacta boxes.
