Hi there! Thank you very much for wanting to contribute to BrickLink! 
This is a known issue in the BrickLink catalog and inventories system. It is
currently documented as project #11 under the "Projects Under Consideration:"
section on the Catalog Roadmap: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2476
At this time, we will not be making any changes to the current BrickLink inventories
concerning these hoses until this project is taken up by the BrickLink Catalog
Admins and Associates. Hopefully, this will occur within the next year as the
admin team continues to grow and take on more projects to work out problems in
the catalog.
So, even those these requests will not be accepted at this time, please take
away the knowledge that the problem has been documented and will be acted upon.
