Hey Fred!
You know we don't like using set pictures as reference material. 
Can we be sure that it was always the 8mm-cylinder train coupling in the two
sets this part came in?
has already been documented in sets around the same time period as those two
sets.

Can we be sure that it was always the 8mm-cylinder train coupling in the two
sets this part came in?
