LOL.

Reminds me of one for a sealed box a while ago ... mint condition apart from
shelf wear and a hole approx 5cm x 5cm near the corner.

Here is another list along the same lines:

Aragorn: Crack on both sides of torso, but Excellent Visual Condition!
Boromir: Very Good Condition! Small mark on head! NO Cape!
Moria Orc - Olive Green: Very Good condition, but broken torso on one side!

To be fair, one has to acknowledge that the store describes the flaws correctly,
so a potential buyer does know what he/she is going to get.

I think if they simply reversed the two thoughts they have in the listing it
would sound SO much better.

"Mark on head, otherwise in good condition" "cape is worn, decent
otherwise
" etc Sound so much better to me personally.

leading with the "LOOKS GREAT! but not great" is the off putting part for me.
Just switch 'em and it sounds more honest I think

I've seen a few ebay listings that said MISB with a picture of the set build
with no box.

LOL.

Haha In the NL we have this second hand website where some people have a mighty
difficult time picking the right option from "new", "as good as new" and "used".

Some people are just so optimistic they won't ever go for "used" unless they'd
be selling an old shoe. I've seen classic space minifigs with completely
faded torsos, "as good as new". I guess to some people "new" means that nobody
has been using it except they themselves

Question: why would actually someone glue a minifigure together?

Second question: Is there a way one can dissolve such clue without dissolving
/ damaging / discoloring the ABS of the parts or damaging / dissolving the pad
print?

It depends on the glue but the general (99%) answer is no.

Hobbyists who like to build it once, repair cracked parts, or splice their own
custom minifigures. The latter is well-received with Lego Juniors, because Lego
didn't intend for them to come apart.

Soak them in hot water a few degrees below 80°C, see if they come loose, before
moving onto your choice of solvent. If you prefer the conservationist method,
you can scrape off slivers of dried glue and grab a spare Lego part, and test
those first.
