I have no problem adding this poster to the set inventory, but I need to know
what your source is for making this request. Was this poster found in a sealed
set?

Thanks,

Hi, sorry for my not perfect english. I found the poster in set 6398 when my
parents bought it in my childhood and I still keep it (a bit worn). The presence
of a poster (this poster, to be precise) in the set 6398 is also clearly stated
in the captions used to describe the set in the large Italian and German catalogs
of 1993 (look the picture attached). I can also say that this same poster was
also included in the set 6539 (this is also specified in the catalog of 1993).

I also know with certainty where other posters (for example p92eut or p95eut
or p94pirate2 etc.) of unknown origin were included: I will add them later.

Many thanks, regards.

Francesco

Your English is fine!

Before adding the poster to the set, I would like some kind of supporting evidence
from a set that is still together or still sealed. I have tried looking for this,
but I am currently not finding one where I can see a poster included. Judging
from the catalogs you showed, it seems that a poster was indeed included in some
markets, but I cannot rely alone on your memory from childhood or the catalogs
you have listed to determine exactly which poster this was. It may be the one
you have stated, but then again, it may not. I understand that it would be nice
to have these posters attached to inventories, but determining which poster went
in which set is not very high priority when it comes to having correct set inventories.

I also know with certainty where other posters (for example p92eut or p95eut
or p94pirate2 etc.) of unknown origin were included: I will add them later.

Again, I would also need some kind of supporting evidence for these requests.
Maybe someone looking through this thread will have some additional information
to shed light on these posters.

I will leave this request open for a bit to see if myself or anyone else can
determine anything.

Cheers,
Randy

Hi, thanks for your reply. Trying to have a further proof, I contacted a seller
here on bricklink who has a 6398 set for sale, but with the seals opened:

https://store.bricklink.com/lar#/terms

He has confirmed that the poster is included inside the box.

Thanks again, regards.

There are two posters in the catalog with the same image:

Gear No: p92eut2 Name: Town Poster 1992 with Contest on Reverse (922399)
*
p92eut2 Town Poster 1992 with Contest on Reverse (922399)
Gear: Poster: Town
and

Gear No: p93eut Name: Town Poster 1993 (110983/111083-EU)
*
p93eut Town Poster 1993 (110983/111083-EU)
Gear: Poster: Town

Could you get the seller to take a photo of the complete set with the poster
included and then another photo of just the poster with the print code visible
on it?

I would like to add these images to this thread so that the information is verified
by image and can be referenced later if need be.

Cheers,
Randy

Unfortunately the seller don't send pictures about the items on sale for
his sales policy. Hope someone can post pictures to confirm the presence of the
poster in the set.

Many thanks again, regards.

I can only offer very limited assistance. I opened a sealed 6398 in the last
year. I did not find a poster among my pile of vintage paperwork. If it were
bent badly, I would have thrown it away and mine was probably from an America
set while his was not. So all of this is to say, I don't doubt him either,
but I cannot confirm.
