Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 8483 Name: CyberMaster with Storage Case
*
8483-1 (Inv) CyberMaster with Storage Case
892 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1 Gear, 1998
Sets: Technic: Competition

* Change {27 to 26} Part Light Gray 3713 Technic Bush
* Change {15 to 17} Part Light Gray 4265c Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth

Comments from Submitter:
Please see attached picture in forum. This will bring the set one brick closer to reaching 900, but is still missing one. Consider making identical changes to the set without case.

I found this set with all bags sealed. It's not possible to count the different
pins because the bags are too full to be flattened, but it's possible to
count the items in this small bag, which documents the changes I suggest.

The set included two instructions bearing only one set number (contrary to the
current instructions image). Each instruction contained a number of different
languages. Also included were a sheet describing a solution to a certain problem.
Last, but not least, there's some small papers held together by a chain.
In this set it's in German and contains a short introduction and system requirements.

Please consider making appropriate notes in the instructions entry for these
variations.

/Jan

Are we sure that all of these parts were counted as Regular Items, or were at
least one of each of them considered an Extra Item? It would be very uncommon
to not see at least one of each of this part as extras.

Are the building instructions found on the included CD (so someone could count
how many are needed for the build)? I don't find any on paper.

I can't find instructions anywhere for the actual builds, so they must be
on the CD. Without having appropriate instructions to base changes like this
off of, I do not think I am going to adjust any quantities of parts in this set.
If you can get access to the instructions of the builds, I would like to have
a copy of them.

Hi Randy,

id you check youtube?
The instructions are videos only on the cdrom
Some people share them on Youtube

8483 and 8482 have the same inventory right?

I think the following pdfs are made from print-screens of the video:
https://www.navina.ch/workshop/cybermaster/index.html

Thanks for finding those, Fred. Wow, those are going to take quite a bit of time
to go through. I may have to put this one on the back-burner for a bit before
I have the time to study this thoroughly.

Hi,

to help a bit with this request, I went through the instructions and marked all
bushes.

As a maximum, I count
25 bushes for the main model (12 for the crusher and 13 for the stinger) and
16 half bushes for the truck (2 for the base, 10 for the claw, 2 for the blade
and 2 for the fork)
The other models are much smaller and have much less bushes.

So one bush and one half bush as extras should be correct.

I finally got a chance to go through all of this by myself, and I can now confirm
that Jonas' analysis above is correct. A maximum of 25 bushes are used in
the main model, and a maximum of 16 half bushes are used in the alternate model.
Therefore, with Jan's findings in the sealed set, I think it is safe to say
that one bush and one half bush were extras. I will adjust this after accepting
Jan's requests.

Cheers,
Randy

I have decided to part out my sealed set at some point in the future, and I will
check the total counts in the current inventory (but not in the instructions).

  Please see attached picture in forum. This will bring the set one brick closer to reaching 900, but is still missing one. Consider making identical changes to the set without case.

I have parted out this set now and I can confirm all current counts including
extras. Well, I haven't actually gone through the instructions to confirm
if the two parts currently noted as extras are in fact used in the build or not,
but the total count of items is correct.

On a side note (discussed in another thread), it's not 100% clear whether
this set was 8482 or 8483, but because the inventories are identical except for
case and CD-ROM, it shouldn't matter. But because of the mixed nature of
my set, I will not use the "confirm inventory" function at this point.

Dicussion of the mixed nature here: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1213749

Could you check part

*
32064 Technic, Brick 1 x 2 with Axle Hole
Parts: Technic, Brick {Dark Turquoise}
in your set?

I am not sure what it means that they are mixed. 8483 definitely has 32064c.
Definitely not 32064. But procedurally we need someone to confirm it.

8482 and 8483 are actually the same set. The difference is the case.

I am a little unclear. Mine came in a cardboard case with a plastic handle.
I figured at the time that the other had a more legit plastic case, but I'm
not clear on that.

  8482 and 8483 are actually the same set. The difference is the case.

The CD-ROM in the two sets in the BL inventories are different, well at least
the CD cover is, I can't conclude anything about the CD itself.

The instructions currently listed on sets 8482 and 8483 on BL are NOT the same
as the ones in my set. The BL instructions carry both set numbers, mine only
says "8482" and are two books, not one.

Could you check part

Part No: 32064 Name: Technic, Brick 1 x 2 with Axle Hole
*
32064 Technic, Brick 1 x 2 with Axle Hole
Parts: Technic, Brick {Dark Turquoise}
in your set?
(And then submit a request to change it to 32064c... )

8482 claims to have [P=32064c,39], while 8483 claims to have

Part No: 32064 Name: Technic, Brick 1 x 2 with Axle Hole
*
32064 Technic, Brick 1 x 2 with Axle Hole
Parts: Technic, Brick {Dark Turquoise}
. My
set has 32064c, but which number is my set when it's mixed?

I would say your set is 100% 8483 and not mixed with 8482. See the note on

Gear No: case11 Name: Technic Cybermaster Storage Case
*
case11 Technic Cybermaster Storage Case
Gear: Storage: Technic

It seems complicated.

892 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1 Gear, 1998
Sets: Technic: Competition

* Change {27 to 26} Part Light Gray 3713 Technic Bush
* Change {15 to 17} Part Light Gray 4265c Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth

Please see attached picture in forum. This will bring the set one brick closer to reaching 900, but is still missing one. Consider making identical changes to the set without case.

The changes you want to make to 8483 mirror changes Randy made to 8482 last year,
except with the issue of what is extra and regular. You come to the same totals
as I did on 8482 when I verified it.

Edit - I didn't realize until after posting that I was looking at an old
thread.
