The production date of motor in one of the photos attached is 15 7 69 (Mid July
1969) coming with black train rims. This set was released in 1969. All the other
photos of sealed copies come also with black rims. Maybe we can remove the light
gray one?

Maybe [p=bb299] should also be moved from extra to regular.
This screwdriver is used to build the motor.

I guess it should be regular if it is needed to build the set. Randy, what do
you think?

As you can see on SezaR's picture, the motor case did no come assembled.
You need a tool to assemble the motor case.

You can find the paper sheet about the motor:
https://us.v-cdn.net/5015319/uploads/editor/3n/xudrvak43mwc.jpg

People also mention cable

Part No: 2913c02 Name: Electric, Train Track Contact Base with Wire (97 cm) and Connector with Cap
*
2913c02 (Inv) Electric, Train Track Contact Base with Wire (97 cm) and Connector with Cap
Parts: Electric, Train
You cannot see the complete cable on SezaR's picture, bu you see the white
wire.
On paper sheet below, you can read that this cable can be used to others sets.

I would say it does belong in the Regular Items section. I will move it.

As with your other request I don't feel comfortable removing these parts
just yet. I'd like some more input on that from people who own the set and/or
are knowledgeable about these old trains.
