Thank you so much for finding this error! 
When the original inventory submitter was working on this inventory, she could
not reach the part count on the box as stated (3178) and was stuck at 3176 parts.
I did my own checks on the inventory before accepting it, and I myself could
not find the two missing pieces either. I was working with data directly from
LEGO which did not have these two pieces listed in their inventory, so her inventory
and mine kept checking out.
Your request here has located those two missing parts, and they are indeed in
the official parts list in the instructions manual. Now both she and I can sleep
better at night!
