Comments from Submitter:
On LEGO.com, the parts inventory for this set shows the part as white, element ID 393701. The instructions for the set shows the color as tan. The white variation should be included as an alternate item.

This should be confirmed from sealed set content or could be also confirmed from
somebody who have this set, bought it as new seald then build it and never mixed
parts with other sets. LEGO parts replacment service (from which is your source)
can have mistakes.
As for now I didn't found any evidence that variant of this set with white
hinges exists. For now I found photographs of sealed ones with tan hinges only
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2344438
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4195041
(and also used ones with tan hinges)

But I leave this open for a few days maybe somebody confirms this or we found
another evidence in the meantime.
