Hi all,

La Poste, the French postal services, is “offering” new designs for their stamps
(which you have to print yourself, and which cost the same as their other, more
mundane, designs).
You can see them here: https://www.laposte.fr/timbre-la-grande-aventure-lego-2

I was wondering if other postal services were doing something similar. Anyone?

I think they may be onto something, I like this. I bet they become collectible
and worth stacking away for the future. Interesting idea.

You can’t really collect them. It’s an online stamp you print yourself. Royal
Mail has a similar service.

Oh get you, that's a shame I thought they were actual real stamps.

I've no idea if other country's postal systems are participating, but
as it's TLG, there most likely will be others.

Regardless, I really like the program. Fun!

You can order custom stamps at the Dutch postal service. Those are actual stamps,
not something you have to print yourself. Some Dutch BrickLink sellers are using
them.

In the UK, LEGO / The LEGO Movie 2 has partnered with DFS, a furniture store
well known for massively over-inflated prices that have to be discounted by at
least 50% for anything to sell.

DFS still don't do a double decker couch though.

Well, maybe they do, but the 50% discount makes it a simple decker

Hi

In Belgium we have this as service for about 20 years.
Create your own stamp, it's a lot more as the normal tarif, then you receive
them as real stamp and can use them.

La Poste does really personalized¹ stamps too but my question was about the partnering
between LEGO and the postal services, in whatever way.

¹ Where you can provide your own images, for the stamps and the booklet covers;
not the “semi-personalized” the “print your stamps” service offers, where you
choose the stamp decor amongst a few dozens.
