Hi there,

I wonder if anyone can help. Our eldest son has just started a Lego club at school
and I came across the 'Studio' software on a YouTube video. Our son has
made a 'flyer' with the lego bricks, but when we try to render it as
a png file, the render page that comes up for us is different than the one in
the instrucitons, and on here. There is no inital 'save location' that
comes up.

This is the render box we get.

Can anyone shed any light on this, as we have tried to render it a number of
times, and all we get is an 'eyesight' render ?

Thanks in advance,

Matt Frost

Hi,

I'm not sure to fully understand the issue you have, you may ask on the official
Studio forum (https://forum.bricklink.com/).

What I do for rendering is click on render, get the same windows as you, move
the object/camera as desired, click on render (I use Pov-Ray), it ask me where
to save the picture, then pov-ray is started and rendering is generated.

You may try a few things, play with option and check for errors in log file
(from my memory it is most probably there - c:\windows\users\\appData\Local\Stud.io\
file xxx.log), it can only be opened when Studio is not running.
