A number of buyers have sent this message to me.
"I'm trying to place an order but each time I click proceed to checkout I
get
an error stating "No shipping method" I don't get it, it even says that shipping
will be $3.50 on the screen. Can you please help me check out. Thank you"

I cant give them the correct answer. I thought that they did not have their address
in Bricklink when they created a login, but that was not it. It is also clear
that i have set up that i use USPS.com.
I dont know what their problem is because i have had many other orders entered
correctly in the past few weeks with no problem.

Please let me know how to resolve this. thank you.

Check to see if there are items common to the various orders in question. I've
seen this behavior before when some items in the cart did not have defined weight
(and were weight restricted) or defined dimensions (and were volume restricted).
Without those bits of information, the instant checkout doesn't seem to
be able to tell whether they will fit in a given package or not. You might need
to add those numbers for items in your inventory.

Hope that helps!

I went to Settings, Management. I noticed that the 'enable my weight & package
info on each item for sale' box was not checked. So i checked it. Hopefully
that will solve my problem. Thank you.

I still have a few people sending me messages ""No shipping methods available".
Do I need to go somewhere else besides this forum to get an answer?
Bricklink is sending this error message to potential buyers. What triggers this
error message? I dont know. I need someone who works for Bricklink to help me
with this. I also need help at letting Bricklink know that I need help with this
problem.

I've gotten another message today. 'the msg now is "the seller can't
ship your order with any of the shipping methods
available." sounds like maybe you haven't specified something for heavier
orders,

Where do I go to fix that?

Sone items don't have dimensions.
On your my Inventory page on the right at the advanced seach options check items
missing dimensions. Change them from weight to manual.
Add a shipping method with manual invoice or one big box method with manual invoice.

In the store settings check the checkbox
*Use invoice when an order can not be placed with Instant Checkout
S&H fees of some items may not be pre-calculated due to incomplete data.

Do a forum search for solutions and other options with printscreens.

I had the same issue and was able to resolve it by following instructions below...

First, I went to Settings - Management, in then under "Inventory" clicked on
"Enable my weight and package info on each item for sale"

Then as suggested, went to inventory and on the right checked "No Weight in Catalog"
and clicked Go.

Then the items came up that the buyer was wanted, and I manually entered the
weight for the item.

Then the seller was able to purchase.

Thanks for the help Forum!!
