Stefaan

yes
It would saved lot of time if it would be still visible why it was changed. And
we must again "reinvent the wheel" here For now I have no idea what to do
with it after digging through google. My intuition only tells me that this set
came only with two swords. Why? Instruction shows only two swords used in build.
These sets in this period never came with additional instructions for these assemblies
on the back. They were just and idea propositions what you can do with parts
in this sets so they can have mistakes I think and I don't think they are
reliable as set instruction.

All of the evidence that I could find leads me to the same conclusion: the set
only came with two swords and that one image on the back of the box might be
a mistake.

However, there are three examples from that time period in the catalog where
this sword was included as an extra. One of the sets I suspect could be a mistake,
but two of them are from a very reliable source.

I also have to take into account that the quantity of this part was changed in
the past from three to two by a member I do not recognize, but there was conversation
about it at the time with the end result being the change was accepted.

So three swords *could* have been included in this set, but one image on the
box is not enough to draw a solid conclusion about whether it *was* included,
and if it was, whether it would be considered a regular or extra part.

I am sorry, but for now this change request will be rejected. If more solid proof
arises in the future, we can revisit this request at that time.

Cheers,
Randy
