Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 9525 Name: Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter
*
9525-1 (Inv) Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter
388 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2012
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars The Clone Wars

* Change 2 Part White {3794 Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 1 Stud (Jumper) (Undetermined Type) to 3794a Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 1 Stud without Groove (Jumper)} (Alternate)

Comments from Submitter:
Supporting info from change log and timeline:
1. Alternate part was added after 15 Oct 2011, so 3794b variant was available in catalog; therefore, I assume the person that added would have differentiated between the 2 part variants.
2. Part was added before 3794a variant was available in catalogue, meaning that 3794 was representing the without groove variant at that time.

I can confirm the presence of 3794a based on sets that I parted out in December
2012.

Of course 3794 was de facto used as 3794a before that variant was added to the
catalog so in my opinion no further evidence should be needed to change all 3794
to 3794a in set inventories.

Thanks for the message this request was already rejected so please resubmit it
for this set with this evidence.

I don't agree with this

You're the inventory admin, so I'm not going to argue with that. I'm
also not going to bother checking every set that I own for the correct part variant.
But I will say that I have always used 3794 for the variant without groove before
3794a was added to the catalog. So you can change 3794 to 3794a in all sets that
I inventoried with 3794.

Thanks. There are probably also some sets where I submitted inventory change
requests to add 3794 as alternate. Those can also be changed. I don't know
if there's an easy way to find those sets.

I dig through this
There where you add 3794 as an alternate I changed. Sometimes also when adding
3794b as an alternate in change request you wrote that you found both variants
when parting particular sets so there I also changed undetermine to a. Currently
to all requests before the 22th of April 2014 no additional information in masseages
were preserved. So there I changed only when you added 3794 as an alternate.
Finally 34 sets could be changed https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChangeItem.asp

Thanks for doing all that. I knew about that page to find all my approved inventory
change requests, but I didn't want to go through all of them so I was hoping
that there was a way to narrow it down to find only the ones that involve a specific
part.

There is search box on top but when typing part numer didn't work so I used
ctrl+f in browser and went through about 20 pages
