Comes in a nice brick-shaped plastic storage bin, I'm wondering why it's
not listed as being part of the set (I may just be missing it), and if the weight
then includes the packaging, including the bin?

I have no clue what you mean... it would be nice to see it with the "cosnsists
of:" "box" or "gear," but it's not there, and there's no "box" in the
inventory.
Or are you suggesting I search the catalog for box? Because then I'd need
to wade through thousands of results trying to find it.

| Top right of the catalogue entry screen has a link to original box & instructions
entry.

The box is not part of the inventory, because it is a box, listed as a box.

If you go to the set page, in the right top corner it also says instructions
and box, just click on it.
