There's a new store in town: NetherlandsBricks - we're building our presence.
At the moment the first 1000 items are inventoried and ready to sell. More will
follow soon, as we're still adding our compete inventory.

Welcome to Bricklink!
It is a great place to buy and sell.

But be carefull in selling your red and white bricks on your picture, they do
not seem to be in great shape! 😉

Thank you! These were only used for the store logo and on the very small store
image that won't be visible

Welcome to Bricklink! 2 things I noticed going over your terms;
- No letter shipments abroad? (except on individual request) this will cost
you more than a third of the orders probably, that's a shame.
- You are charging 5% for PayPal payments regardless of the actual percentage
due. This is usually less than that, and overcharging payment methods is actually
in violation of the law. You are only allowed to charge the exact amount. If
calculating the exact amount is logistically impractical, try undercharging (3%)
or giving a 5% discount to non-PayPal payments. Also, you can chose to cover
these expenses yourself and restricting this payment method to non-NL or non-Euro
transactions.

Thanks for your reply. In regards to the letter, yes I do send by letter (upon
request), but the default shipping method is parcel with track & trace.
I will have a look on how this goes, otherwise I'll make letter the default
shipping option.

Regards paypal, I'd like to disable this totally, but that seems to be no
option on this site. The IBAN transfers are safer and cheaper to do, which is
the payment method I prefer.
I just checked the paypal charges, you're correct; 5% is too high. This is
what they used to charge me to transfer the money from my paypal account to my
IBAN account (some years back) and I hadn't checked since. It appears this
is for free and the paypal fee to receive money is 3,5% + € 0,35. I'll have
to adjust that in my store, so thanks for that!

Safer for you maybe. But less safe for the buyer though.

I've had some pretty bad experience with paypal as a buyer as well (where
I lost over € 200,- and paypal didn't refund or do anything), while with
IBAN there are laws that protect the consumer. Also if the bank goes bankrupt,
there are laws in place to protect your money (up to about € 200.000), which
aren't in place for paypal.

But yes, they say that buyers have some more protection with paypal.

How can I restrict paypal tot non-Euro transactions?

Don´t do it. If you charge a PP fee, who cares which country it comes from?
Promoting IBAN, yes of course, but many EU buyers still have no idea how they
make a bankpayment at home....
