I'm sorry, but I don't believe the year of release alone is sufficient
to support this particular change request.

However, in fairness to you I just spent over 45 minutes looking in every place
I could think of and didn't find anything to support these requests. In
fact, every set 952 which I looked at except one had the open stud parts. I
don't consider that convincing, but it is certainly suggestive.

Therefore, until such time as more conclusive evidence is located I have rejected
these changes.

This means that 952 didn't come with 3062a but 851 did?
By the way, I had 316 and this is how I got 4 black 3062a (one lost later) I
got also 7 yellow 3062a with 491-1, one was lost by my brother.

I have no idea - I wasn't looking for set 851. It's possible, though,
since 952 was released a year later in a different market/region.

I sincerely hope that you were able to forgive your brother for losing 1 part
yellow 3062a. There are some things in life which are more important than toys
and your relationship with your brother is one of those things. I'm fairly
sure he didn't lose this part on purpose.

I could easily let that one go, so did I for him losing a white 1*2 tile, but
how could I forgive him for having swallowed one "yellow Plate, Modified 1 x
2 with 1 Stud" 3794? Our beautiful Hairdressing Salon 230 set missed this part
and the flower could never stand properly on the table in the hairdressing salon?

That one was not forgivable.

He was (and is!) 8 years older than me and all these brutalities happened before
my birth.
We shared a room until I was 8 years old, so how I learnt about Lego. The most
practical and useful parts we had were (about) 8 red Hinge Plate 2 x 5 (3149c01)
and red Hinge Plate 2 x 9 (3324c01). When I was 4 or 5, I realized their functionality
and that i could open them. Then I also discovered that if you keep opening them,
at some point they don't want to open further so I needed to apply some force...and
I truly liked that sound of crack! Naturaly I tried this trick with the second
hinge, then the third one...
I still remember the face of my brother when he discovered what happened! He
then immediately searched through all parts and rescued the last two hinge plates
(one 2 x 5 and one 2 x 9). This might be the reason they(my brothers) didn't
give me their precious until I was 9 years old: the iconic Motorcycle 857
