Kekulé's dream
The new understanding of benzene, and hence of all aromatic compounds, proved
to be so important for both pure and applied chemistry after 1865 that in 1890
the German Chemical Society organized an elaborate appreciation in Kekulé's
honor, celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of his first benzene paper. Here
Kekulé spoke of the creation of the theory. He said that he had discovered the
ring shape of the benzene molecule after having a reverie or day-dream of a snake
seizing its own tail (this is an ancient symbol known as the ouroboros).[11]
This vision, he said, came to him after years of studying the nature of carbon-carbon
bonds.

Don't confuse benzene and benzine.

| I guess Benzene is the one you had not heard about before my inventory request!
What I find interesting is the discovery of its molecular structure! See its
Lego shape attached!
Not only this is not multitasking, it is directly related to my inventory request.
The chance that my inventory request gets accepted increases significantly if
the story of Benzene is found interesting!
From wikipedia page of Benzine:
"Benzine" redirects here. It is not to be confused with Benzene.
Petroleum ether is the petroleum fraction consisting of aliphatic hydrocarbons
and boiling in the range 35‒60 °C; commonly used as a laboratory solvent.[4]
Despite the name, petroleum ether is not classified as an ether; the term is
used only figuratively, signifying extreme lightness and volatility.
From wikipedia page of Benzene:
Benzene is an important organic chemical compound with the chemical formula C6H6.
The benzene molecule is composed of six carbon atoms joined in a ring with one
hydrogen atom attached to each. As it contains only carbon and hydrogen atoms,
benzene is classed as a hydrocarbon.
