Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 8935  Name: Nocturn
*
8935-1 (Inv) Nocturn
116 Parts, 2007
Sets: BIONICLE: Warriors

* Change 6 Part {Trans-Light Blue to Glow In Dark Opaque} 57560pb01 Bionicle Hydruka Back Plate (Morak), Marbled Glow In Dark Pattern

Comments from Submitter:
57560pb01 is listed in the catalogue with a base colour either as "Trans Light-Blue" or "Glow in the dark opaque" Looking at pictures of 8539 I am fairly certain that "Trans Light-Blue" is an error of original submitter.
See https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/bionicle/images/c/c3/Nocturn.png/revision/latest?cb=20130727013741
Too ease up on inventories I guess "Glow in dark opaque" could be listed as alternate item

Also this image which clearly shows glow in the dark parts. I will submit a few
more changes if this one comes through.

Is the part Glow in the Dark Opaque with marbled Trans-Light Blue, or is it Trans-Light
Blue with marbled Glow in the Dark Opaque? We need to decide one way or the other
for these parts. It's not good for the listings to be split.

Part No: 57551pb01 Name: Bionicle Head, Barraki Takadox with Marbled Trans-Dark Blue Pattern
*
57551pb01 Bionicle Head, Barraki Takadox with Marbled Trans-Dark Blue Pattern
Parts: BIONICLE

Part No: 57560pb01 Name: Bionicle Hydruka Back Plate (Morak) with Marbled Trans-Dark Blue Pattern
*
57560pb01 Bionicle Hydruka Back Plate (Morak) with Marbled Trans-Dark Blue Pattern
Parts: BIONICLE

Part No: 57562pb01 Name: Bionicle Barraki Spine Flexible with Marbled Trans-Dark Blue Pattern
*
57562pb01 Bionicle Barraki Spine Flexible with Marbled Trans-Dark Blue Pattern
Parts: BIONICLE

If there are any other parts that should be in this group, please let me know.

Really? Why? None of them look particularly off-white with a just a bit of blue
in them. In fact, *all* of the images appear quite bluish with maybe just a bit
of off-white in them. If I was a seller, why would I look at any of these parts
and think they look like anything other than some sort of blue color?

There are several reasons, but the main one is that Glow In Dark Opaque is a
specialty color, and as such, it's the most important color of the two. Now
these parts have a reasonable chance of being found via the color guide instead
of wallowing among 500 parts in Trans-Light Blue:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogListOld.asp?catType=P&colorPart=15&v=3

And photographs don't tell the whole story. In the dark, the blue hues would
definitely take second place.

As for sellers and their choices, one of the things I noticed about the current
listings was a disagreement over the shade of blue. Because of the marbled nature
of the part, there is likely a significant range of color intensity. But like
I mentioned above, I don't think it's good for listings to be split.

If sellers want to give a refined description of the shade of blue in their notes,
that's fine. But to split up the listings means less chance that buyers will
find the part, especially when you consider that the PCC maps only to a single
color.

As a seller who has some of these pieces I agree.
The glow in dark nature of the piece is what defines it and since the blue is
marbled with glow in dark opaque it is definitely not trans light blue.
