| Is it possible to have emails sent from the actual address when someone contacts
me through the Bricklink site? Rather than having them generated from blservice@bricklink.com.
When I hit reply, the response goes back to Bricklink instead of to the email
author.
Either that or have it sent to a dead email address so at least I will get an
error that it wasn't delivered.
This has probably been suggested before.

Actually, there is some intelligence in the BL email system. If you reply to
one of those emails, it does indeed get sent to blservice@, but when it arrives
there, BL figures out where it should have gone, and forwards it to the correct
email address.
If you like, you can contact me through BL, and I will reply without changing
email addresses.

Correcting myself here - there is no magic happening at BL. They do send the
message out as coming from blservice@, but they set a "reply-to" mail header
containing the sender's actual email address.
So when you hit "reply" in your mail client, you should see the email address
of the person that emailed you filled in in the "To:" field.

Doesn't work for me using GMail in Chrome browser. Maybe it depends on the
email system.
I'm looking through my sent mail and had a few people ask me for details
about items for sale, shipping quotes, etc. and I replied but it was sent to
blservice, and so my response was never reveived.
