It would be nifty if we could download the orders we've placed as individual
or bulk PDF's so they could retain their images, layout, and info. all in
one package even after being purged from the site

Vote yes, that would be awesome.
Note: you currently you can work around it individually by going to print and
then instead of actually sending to a printer just save as pdf, if using chrome
you can even save it to your google drive as a pdf.
However this is a one by one method and tedious. Having a button that creates
one (or multiple) pdf(s) for a selectable range of orders would be ideal.
