| I was messing around trying to fix this page and for some reason added the "my
order note" field and now it just will not go away.
Please fix! It makes this page even worse, hardly thought that possible.

I think this will fix your problem.

Have you actually tried this solution?
Or are you just pointing to where it should change the setting?
I use the Order notes feature.
As a test, I tried resetting the option to not display this field is inoperative
for me as well
It does not work.

I reported this time ago (before of the new layout) to BL and I received the
ordinary annoyed and useless reply that this bug don't result and to enclose
a screenshot! However I selected the icons option for to save space on the page.
