I have had two customers recently who I've issued coupons to, not apply them
but mean to use them.

It would be nice, even from the buyer perspective to have a warning question
before final submit to apply coupon or not.

Or perhaps the ability for the Seller to apply the coupon retroactively after
the Seller has submitted the order.

You can always manually give them a discount by putting the discount amount in
the credits section of the order when you invoice it.
