Did your copy of the set come with both versions of this book?

Russell

I've got both the US and UK copies of the book. I bought the set second hand
from e-Bay but
(a) it was a couple of years ago and
(b) I think I separately bought a set and 3/4 of a set
so I can't recall 100% if they came in the one set or I was over enthusiastic
with my original inventory submission (e.g. woo hoo - my first catalog submission
and more then 100 photos/entries).

The evidence I have (refer to the "Gear up for Learning" catalogue embedded within
http://el.media.mit.edu/logo-foundation/resources/nlx/v8/Vol8No8.pdf, pages 26
& 27) suggests that the set did not come bundled with both versions of the book.

Regards,

David

That was really helpful to me. Please let me know if you're aware of any
other old (pre-2002) Dacta/Education catalogs available online. Thanks so much!

Sorry, I'm not aware of any other Dacta/Education catalogues which are available
on-line. I stumbled across that one a couple of years back but haven't seen
any others.

the "Gear up for Learning" catalogue

I have to wonder if this is, in fact, a 1990 catalog:

Catalog No: c89usdac Name: 1989 Large US Dacta - Classroom Manipulatives for Day Care Centers, Head Start, Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Grade (950131-USA)
*
c89usdac 1989 Large US Dacta - Classroom Manipulatives for Day Care Centers, Head Start, Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Grade (950131-USA)
Catalogs: 1989: Educational & Dacta

The date on the back cover is 1989, but the interior mentions release dates of
January, 1990 and March, 1990 and the prices are good through December 15th,
1990. Any thoughts? Could this be a 1990 catalog instead of a 1989 catalog?

The copyright year on a catalog is, 99% of the time, the year of the catalog.
However, I have found a number of true exceptions to this over the years. I think
you have a strong case here for changing it to 1990, but I don't know if
possible to say for sure without finding another US dacta catalog from 1989 to
fill the slot, so to speak.
