This image of the unopened bag plus a Brickset review confirm that there are
indeed 4 of these included. Lego replacement parts data confirms that only two
are needed to build the set.

| The tree in question only needs 2 of these parts, look at the picture. If extra
are provided in the box, shouldn't they be under extras? Brickset.com parts
list for this set also only mentions 2 of these.
