I usually snap a photo of the orders I send out using my phone. This is just
to document how it's been packaged, as well as the address for the recipient.
It would be nifty if I could attach this photo to the order on the order details
page and perhaps link to it via the Drive-thru message. I am fine with a size
limit for the photo in order to not generate a huge amount of storage need and
traffic.

Does this make sense and is it something that others could benefit from?

Upload the photo to MyImages and include the link wherever you want.

This is not what the OP is asking for. The OP ask for an easy way to have a picture
related to an order, not for a place to host a picture (there are enough
of them already).

Great suggestion, voted YES. I always make a photo as well and it would be nice
to have the possibility to make it accessible for the buyer. At least one time
in my seller history I could prove to the buyer that I packed a certain item
that was claimed 'missing' by providing my photo of the packed order
via email. This simple feature could prevent a lot of buyers claims.
