There is no 2456 Dark Bluish Gray Brick 2 x 6 used in Step 8.

There are multiple versions of this set. The two parts you are referencing are
already in the alternates.
The solution is not optimal, but this is what has been decided about these sorts
of set redesigns. Hopefully an inventory admin will be along to add their expertise.

Found our file with the instructions for this variation.
Old version has "6011748/6011749" on the back of the instructions.
New, reinforced version has "6030915/6030916"

Found our file with the instructions for this variation.
Old version has "6011748/6011749" on the back of the instructions.

Thanks for pulling the numbers on these instructions - we try to include them
in the saved thread attached to the inventory. The OP has the newer version and
both of his requests are already covered by the alternates listed under match
number 1.
