Hi,
this spare part should totally be white and not light gray. That part is never used in light gray for this set.

A Light Gray lot of 4073's *was* in the inventory at one point. There have
been so many drastic changes to this inventory I wonder whether there are 2 versions
of instructions.
Yes I saw the changes,
but it seems it was impossible to determine the colour for some parts from the
Peeron instruction. The last one at Lego has all colours cleared out. That's
why all the changes.
The early light gray ones were changed to dark gray and the extra one dark gray
was already there. The extra white one was forgotten. Peeron has also the extra
white one.
