| There was a great improvement a little while ago, which allowed users to add
parts to an inventory by using the 7-digit id number from the instruction booklet.
But it only works if that id is known to BL.
This should go one step further. It should be possible to enter an entire set's
inventory by typing in all the design ids and quantities. If any of them are
uknown to BL, if then gives the opportunity to attach that id to an existing
part/color combination, or if it's a new part it creates a pending catalog
entry.

There was another improvement even more recently allowing an entire inventory
to be uploaded automatically while only performing a few adjustments along the
way. Try it out by going through the "Manual Add" feature and follow the instructions.
Use a random number of entries (5, 10, whatever - it doesn't matter after
that screen:

The part about unknown id's - this is still an issue, but it would be nice
if we could upload a placeholder entry for these and then edit them when the
inventory is in pending status.

| I still prefer the old fashioned way.

Well, to each their own. We have no plans to disable any of the older features,
btw. The important thing is that inventories still keep getting submitted.
