| Please do not have replies count against the message limit for new members. It
makes it difficult to have a back-and-forth discussion at a time when new buyers
and sellers are most confused, and replying to someone else's message is
unlikely to be a massive spam

I like the idea, but this might take quite some coding. AFAICS the BL messages
currently don't have any concept of conversations or any relationship
between a message and a reply. The fact that the subject gets prefixed with "Re:"
does not make it a reply, as you can easily put that manually in the subject.
Voted yes, but no high hopes.

| It must already have the notion that it's a reply since it shows the ID of
the message being replied to.

| Voted yes. There should be a limit on ALL sellers in the "sales" thread... one
or two new posts a week.

Voted yes. It might be easier to code it by limiting the number of different
members a newbie can message each day rather than putting a limit on the total
number of messages. E.g. 5 members per day instead of 5 messages per day.

members a newbie can message each day rather than putting a limit on the total
number of messages. E.g. 5 members per day instead of 5 messages per day.

Or maybe it would be easier to code it so that members can send unlimited messages
from their order details (both received and placed) page. That way they can send
unlimited messages to buyers and sellers with whom they have open orders.

If you have your settings set up for messages being also forwarded to your regular
inbox, you can have the conversion in private, in stead of going through the
site. This causes no issues if both members feel they can trust eachother.

5 members per day seems more logical then 5 messages per day.

I assumed the limitation is only valid for messages that are not order related,
and that for order related messages (send from within the orderoverview) there
would be no limit ?
Anyone can confirm whether the limitation is also valid on 'orders'?
