One thing that I think would be helpful on Bricklink is if there was a pop-up
warning whenever you try to leave a page that has been modified. I have seen
this on other sites, and it is easy for me to enter quantities for items I want
and then forget to add them to the cart before going to the next page. I'm
not sure if this is possible or practical with the current infrastucture, but
I think it would be useful.

I agree. There have also been times when I add a lot of parts and forget to click
the Verify button, causing me to have to upload them all over again.
