Enable a viewer traffic/view counter for items in the store to give the seller
an idea how much traffic specific items are bringing to the store. Perhaps if
it's priced too high and people are not even looking at the item. This would
be counting customer traffic from either price guide and item search, not so
much from within the store. There could be monthly stats for those lots. I understand
this would be an additional task and perhaps too resource consuming for the site,
but perhaps something useful might come of it. I know some might say, if it hasn't
sold, it's priced too high. So there you go.

I assume that this would have to be per lot, rather than per item - although
may be a good incentive for consolidation of lots where the items are the same.

And then, there might be a problem if lots are completely sold out and restocked,
unless they are relisted under the old lot number instead of freshly listing
them.

They could also do a more global most searched for or most viewed in price guide
for the whole site rather than per store.

There are many ways to tackle this. I am leaving it open to what would make most
sense to the community. However, I bring this up, because the sellers are pretty
much left in the dark when it comes to any sort of information on how much traffic
certain items bring to the store.

Sure we know when items sell, but we don't know what brought them to the
store in the first place. I don't know how much sense a seller might be able
to make from this information on an individual item stat, so perhaps some sort
of a summary page to go along with ranking of the top 50, 100 or all lots based
on # clicks to that item from either price guide or item for sale search that
would be updated once a day.
