| I would like to see an improvement to wanted lists - when browsing by store,
it would be nice to see what wanted list each of the parts is from and also to
be able to sort by wanted list. It would also be nice to be able to rate wanted
lists by importance so that you can focus on one list more than others. Additionally,
it would be nice to indicate both suppressed parts (ones that you have unchecked
before searching by store) and also indicate parts that may have restrictions
on them based on wanted list - ie price, quantity. That way when you are buying
from a store, you can see if they have the part but it is outside of the search
criteria (too expensive, short desired quantity).
I am trying to note any of these improvements as I run into them.
Thoughts?

Considering what I have seen here and the well wish to understand if BL 1 is
or isn't getting updated I was considering this as your better off getting
into the API and making a Hard Core Wanted list app. One that Trumps the current
system. The wanted list is fine for a few little items but any big projects its
an utter waste in my eyes. your almost better just buying the sets that have
a bulk of what you need, part out the set and sell the rest. I've done that
twice already and found that it was much faster then trying to do the one shop
MANY pieces search.

Already possible, see My display options, here http://www.bricklink.com/wantedSettings.asp

Name or number the lists by priority.

Yes, check the long-winded box that says:
Show Multiple Wanted Selection Lists as Multiple Options in Stores and My Wanted
Items By Shop
|
| It would also be nice to be able to rate wanted

Definitely a must. Also create a list called "Ordered" or something and move
the items you have ordered to it, rather than deleting them.
|
| Additionally,
it would be nice to indicate both suppressed parts (ones that you have unchecked

|
|
This too is possible: look to the left under the search bar in a store and click
the link that says "Show all items..." That link will show the items but ignore
your criteria of price or quantity.

Related to this, I would like to see the API opened up to accounts that are buyer
accounts, with the data available to write one's own tool to do this sort
of thing.
