| Is there, or could there be a 'reply with' and 'reply without' quoting the original
post...
I sometimes reply on my mobile phone and the long list of other replies including
the post being replied to can sometimes mean a very long few posts that don't
haveuch new writing in .
Gives the person posting a means to simply answer a question etc without too
much additional text.

Sometimes the quote is soo large it makes it hard to scroll down.
I just delete it.

as a default no, because the quote helps for context.
But, I do share your pain and think the forum could do with a smartphone view,
with perhaps in that view the option to have no quotes on replys
