| I'd like to be able to see the subjects started by my fellow Canadians. Those
posts are often relevant and helps to keep in touch him our "local" Lego communauty.
I think it could be easy for the Admin to give us that option in the Forum's
settings / filters.

This idea has partial merit.
Its biggest problem is that the point of bricklink is its international community,
the buyer and seller communitys here are at one and borderless. There are other
language topics here true, but they are there to help none-English speakers find
support and not divide people by what language they prefer to write in.
There are already many local forums (LUGs) which would better serve your requirements
for contacting folks who are local to you.
On the plus side though, I can see some merit in being able to split, filter
and search some categorys by geographical location, these are as follows:
Retail: I do not have any use for knowing whats on offer in Canadian stores,
just like someone in Canada may have little interest in special offers at European
stores.
Events: Im particularly fond of the concept of being able to search for events
by location
Sales: though it doesnt interest me, I can understand why some buyers (postage
costs perhaps, customs fees etc) may wish to reduce the number of sales posts
they see to just those in a specific region.
My personal opinion is that to divide the whole forum up into local strands would
be messy and devisive, but carefully applied in the right place, the principles
could work.

I'm only asking for an option in the filters. Easily done, if you don't want
it, you keep your Forums as you like them.
